Meaghan Oppenheimer
First appearing in the media as a young actor, she later made her breakthrough as a producer and screenwriter for American films and television shows. Born in 1986 (Kansas, Missouri) she is currently 37 years old.
Raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Meaghan Oppenheimer was a teenage actor who appeared in many television shows and regional theatrical productions. She graduated from Holland Hall in 2009 and then attended “New York University- Tisch School of Arts”. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles in order to work as a screenwriter.
2010 saw Oppenheimer write and appear in the movie Hot Mess, which is about two roommates who end up becoming friends. She has authored the scripts for many motion pictures, such as Fear the Walking Dead. She and director Max Joseph co-wrote the script for the 2015 movie We Are Your Friends.
That December, ABC said that Reese Witherspoon will be helming a brand-new Oppenheimer drama series for television, tentatively titled Please Don’t Go. The show centers on the personal and professional lives of a vicious Dallas divorce lawyer whose history haunts her. ABC said in March 2016 that Penelope Ann Miller had been cast alongside T. R. Knight in the series pilot project that would eventually become Broken. Production on the pilot finished after the first episode aired.
Oppenheimer wrote the screenplay for Queen America, a TV series on Facebook Watch, in 2018. Her unique voice is another thing that sets her unique.
She made a 2022 film adaptation of Carola Lovering’s Tell Me Lies for Hulu. In addition, she was the showrunner and co-executive producer of the Grace Van Patten and Jackson White starring series.
Meaghan Oppenheimer’s stalkTALK won the prize for outstanding television series of 2011.
Since June 1, 2019, Oppenheimer has been married to actor Tom Ellis. Ellis has two children, one with ex-wife Tamzin and one from a prior relationship, and Oppenheimer is their stepmother.
